Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using the FDH Platform ("Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Foreign Domestic Helpers (FDH) must meet the age and training requirements of their home country and be eligible to obtain a Hong Kong FDH work visa.
• Employers must be Hong Kong residents or registered Hong Kong entities.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information at all times.
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Platform Use

The Platform may be used solely for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any other user.
• Use the Platform to solicit payment outside of our approved payment system.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Platform.

5. Employment Contracts

The Platform facilitates connections between employers and FDHs. Any employment contract formed through the Platform is solely between the employer and the FDH. We are not a party to any employment agreement and bear no liability for the terms or performance of such agreements. All contracts must comply with the Hong Kong Standard Employment Contract (Form ID 407) and applicable Hong Kong labour law.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

• Employer subscriptions are billed monthly in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD).
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
• FDH premium features (Profile Boost, Video Profile, etc.) are charged as one-time or recurring fees as described at purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, design, and software, is owned by FDH Platform Ltd. or its licensors. User-generated content (profile photos, documents, videos) remains your property; by uploading it you grant us a licence to display and store it for the purpose of operating the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Hong Kong law, the Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of earnings or failed placement.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
